Automotive Air-conditioning Technology Philippines Inc.

Automotive Air-conditioning Technology Philippines, Inc. (ATP) is a member of the Sanden Global Group of Companies. It is a primary designer, supplier, installer and exporter of automotive air-conditioning systems and components (condensers, evaporators and hose & pipes) and airbag pipes with more than 15 years of solid manufacturing experience. It is a multi-national company that has expanded its scope of business from the Philippine scene to the global export markets. ATP has, successfully, catered to the major domestic OEM customers in the Philippines like Toyota, Honda, Ford, Isuzu, Hyundai and Mitsubishi as well as prestigious overseas accounts such as McLaren, Suzuki, Aston Martin, Ford, General Motors and Saab in Europe and elsewhere.

ATP is committed to total customer satisfaction through excellent quality, competitive cost, on-time delivery and reliable service; and, it places key stakes on safety and the environment. In this regard, it has implemented an Integrated Quality, Safety and Environment Management System, consistently, and with its recent updates of OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO/TS 16949:2009 certifications. It has been given excellence awards for Cost and Delivery performances several times, in the domestic front, by Toyota and Keihin (Honda) as well as for Production Preparation for the Toyota Innova.

NYK TDG eBUSINESS CORPORATION (NTeB)

NYK TDG eBUSINESS CORPORATION (NTeB) is an IT-enabled business process outsourcing (BPO) services provider specializing in business process outsourcing and data management.

It was established in November 2000 through the partnership between NYK Line, one of the world's largest shipping and logistics services provider and Transnational Diversified Group, an Asia-based conglomerate with various businesses in the fields of logistics, ship manning and management, air and travel services, ICT services and Investments management.

At present, it is NYK Line's main BPO center, servicing more than 23 countries across 4 continents. The Company's BPO operations function as a delivery center of electronic data, facilitating international data exchanges and providing information processing and storage related to  cargo booking, documentation, container inventory, cost data recording, and  monitoring and control. As of March  2012, NTeB is a 382 strong organization, which handles the processing of approximately 60,000 documents per month and other customer service-related  transactions. The Company is able to  achieve and maintain its data quality and accuracy ratio of 99.7% resulting to  total customer satisfaction and delight.

One of its  foundation for continuous improvement in its overall quality and efficiency is  its culture of continuous improvement or "Kaizen".  This enables the Company to continuously  adapt to the changing business needs of its client/s and constantly innovate its services resulting to world-class service delivery and excellence.

Department of Science and Technology - Region 9

The Department of Science and Technology Regional Office No. IX (DOST-IX)  is one of the 16 regional offices of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) whose area of coverage is the Zamboanga Peninsula and Isabela City in southern Philippines. DOST-IX emerged when DOST was reorganized from the then National  Science Development Board (NSDB) to the National Science and Technology Authority (NSTA) on March 17, 1982.


DOST-IX's mission is to provide direction, leadership, and coordination of scientific and technological efforts in the  region in order to promote local innovations and technological development that will redound to improving the quality of life in the region. To fulfill this mission, DOST-IX  performs three main functions (1) carry out the laws, rules, regulations,  policies, plans, programs and projects of the Department; (2) provide effective and efficient S&T services to the people in the region; and (3) coordinate  local scientific and technological efforts of both public and private sector.

A small organization with 46 workforce  complement (both for permanent and project-based), DOST-IX provides the  following products and services:
       Technology Transfer and Commercialization through the provision of  technology and other technical interventions;
       Analytical Testing and Calibration Services include physical,  chemical, microbiological analysis and calibrations services;
      S&T Promotion, Information dissemination and S&T Scholarships.

To broaden its reach to the countryside, DOST-IX operates three (3) Provincial Science and Technology Centers, one each  in the provinces of Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga del Norte and Zamboanga  Sibugay. The analytical testing and calibration needs of the customers are  addressed through its well-equipped Regional Standards and Testing  Laboratories. DOST-IX also operates an S&T Information Center that offers  customers with S&T information services that can be accessed through  multi-media facilities and the Internet.


Committed to provide Quality Service to its  customers, DOST-IX achieved the following milestones in the past 6 years:
       ISO 17025 Accreditation for its Microbiological Laboratory in 2005
       ISO 17025 Accreditation for its Chemical Laboratory in 2005
       ISO 9001 certification for its QMS in 2008
       ISO 17025 Accreditation for its Metrology Laboratory in 2011
